Numberland at the German Language School Conference (GLSC) in New York
The 29th ANNUAL CONFERENCE & TEACHER DEVELOPMENT FORUM "Buildung Bridges" was held by the German Language School Conference (GLSC) on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at the German Consulate General in New York.

Within two workshops, Kerstin Strohl introduced the audience into Prof. Preiss's NUMBERLAND programme. Teachers were invited to join the adventures of Prof. Preiss's hands-on approach for early math development.
The presentation included Numberland Part 1 and 2 which adresses children of age four and older, as well as the Adventurland-Lessons for children between two and a half years of age and four.

The German Language School Conference (GLSC) is the national umbrella organization for private German language schools in the United States. Our member schools, which operate mostly on Saturdays, serve children from preschool through high school and adults.
